SHORT BIO

Dyson Hope is an Austin-based electronic artist creating dark, bass-forward club music built for underground rooms, warehouse systems, and late-night dance floors. Drawing from house, techno, breaks, bass music, and rave culture, his sound blends technical DJ roots with cinematic tension, heavy groove, and high-impact energy.

LONG BIO

Dyson Hope came up in the Los Angeles rave scene of the 1990s and 2000s, where his early DJ career centered on dark drum & bass, techstep, and neurofunk. In 1996 he was an FM radio DJ on WRCT 88.3 in Pittsburgh, and by 1999 he was writing drum & bass in the LA underground and releasing two independent mix CDs of original material. His first record, a dubplate, was pressed in 2001.

In 2003, as rave crackdowns hit, he moved from raves to clubs and afterhours and added techno, house, and breakbeat to his sets. In 2005 he played a four-hour house set in Bulgaria on a borrowed rig, and from 2013 a nomadic stretch took him through London, Berlin, Barcelona, and Istanbul before he settled in Austin in 2016. Along the way his focus shifted to producing records.

He released two albums, At Your Own Risk (2022) and Get Up and Go (2023), then his first single, Need More Drugs, in December 2025. He is the founder of SIGIL.ZERO Records, which releases his music, including Drums in the Deep, Got a Body, and Bounce Ritual.

Today he plays the darker, heavier side of house, techno, breakbeat, and bass music. He selects by sound design, the shapes and textures that get a physical response from a room, and every record has to carry intensity, edge, and swagger at the same time. The sound is built for underground raves, warehouse nights, afters, clubs, and festival stages.
